TRAVELLING TO AMSTERDAM - Getting There Easy
Fly to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport or take a Train to Amsterdam Central
​Amsterdam is well-connected and easily accessible from across Europe and beyond. Here’s a quick rundown of your options:​

By Air – Schiphol Airport. Then you are just 15–20 minutes to your hotel or to Amsterdam Central Station. Amsterdam Central Station is in the heart of the city.

By Train – Eurostar & International Rail. Eurostar connects London to Amsterdam in around 4 hours. High-speed trains from Paris, Brussels, Berlin, and other cities make rail travel smooth and scenic.

By Coach – Budget-Friendly Option. International coaches (e.g. FlixBus, BlaBlaCar Bus) offer low-cost travel from cities across Europe.

Buses arrive at hubs like Sloterdijk or Amsterdam Amstel Station.

By Car – Road Trip Ready. Well-connected via European motorways. Be aware of high parking costs and limited city centre access – Park & Ride (P+R) options are available on the outskirts.

By Ferry – From the UK. Ferries run from Newcastle to IJmuiden (near Amsterdam), great for bringing a car or bike. Transfers to the city are available via bus or taxi.
