TRAVELLING TO CYPRUS
Ayia Napa is a popular Mediterranean destination, easily accessible from the UK and across Europe. Here’s a quick breakdown of your travel options:
By Air – Larnaca International Airport (LCA) or Paphos International Airport (PFO)
The easiest and most direct way to reach Ayia Napa is by flying into Larnaca.
From the airport, Ayia Napa is approximately 40–50 minutes by car or transfer.
Taxis, private transfers, and shuttle services are all readily available, and many hotels can assist with arranging transport upon booking. Whilst Paphos International Airport (PFO) located on the opposite side of Cyprus & 1 hour 45 mins – 2 hours transfer to Ayia Napa and fewer direct flight options.

GETTING AROUND NAPA
Once You’re in Ayia Napa
Ayia Napa is compact and easy to get around. Most hotels, beaches, and nightlife spots are within a short taxi ride or walking distance, especially if you stay near the main strip or central areas. Taxis are affordable, and many accommodations offer assistance with transport or excursions.

By Transfer / Shuttle - Pre-booked shuttles are a convenient and cost-effective option, especially for groups.
Shared and private transfers run regularly between Larnaca Airport and Ayia Napa, dropping you directly at your hotel.
By Taxi - Taxis are available directly outside the airport and offer a quick, straightforward journey to Ayia Napa.
Prices are typically fixed, but it’s always best to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
By Bus – Budget-Friendly Option. Public buses run from Larnaca Airport into Ayia Napa, usually requiring a change in Larnaca town.
This is the most affordable option, though it takes longer than a direct transfer.
By Car – Flexible Travel. Hiring a car from Larnaca Airport is a great option if you want flexibility during your stay. Cyprus drives on the left-hand side (same as the UK), making it easy for UK travellers.
Parking is generally more accessible and affordable compared to major European cities.
